How does Discover Weekly work?
Discover Weeklyis a playlist that is created for you every Monday bySpotify. It is an algorithm that uses your listening history to suggest songs you haven't listened to before.
When does Discover Weekly update?
Spotify support couldn't help so I searched all day to find a way to find my recently played songs. I eventually found a solution tonight! If you click into any of your created playlist to view all of your playlist songs, there is an icon for 'add songs' on the top of your playlist. Unfortunately there is no current way to view song history on the iOS version of Spotify. Spotify updates your Discover Weekly playlist every week, on Monday.
How do you find old Discover Weekly playlists?
Every Monday, Spotify resets the playlist and updates it with new songs. Spotify error 4 mac. Once this happens, you won't be able to see the songs from your old Discover Weekly playlist. There is no way around this using the Spotify app.
You lost a song from your previous Discover Weekly?
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to get it back. What you can do, is sign up for Rediscover. It automatically saves a copy of your past weeks Discover Weekly so you have a history of all your old Discover Weekly playlists.
Does Discover Weekly have a history or archive?
Unfortunately, the past playlist's songs are gone on Monday when Spotify adds the new weeks songs to the playlist. You can sign up for Rediscover to automatically have your Discover Weekly playlist saved every week. You then have an archive that has the full history of your old Discover Weekly playlists.
How does Rediscover work?
Rediscover uses the Spotify API to automatically make a copy of your Discover Weekly playlist every Friday. You can then see your old playlist for each week, even after Spotify has updated your Discover Weekly playlist.
How does the setup work?
Play History On Spotify
You will be asked to login to Spotify and then grant permissions to Rediscover. Once Rediscover has the needed permissions, it works in the background to backup your playlists. You don't have to do anything else.
Where does Rediscover save the duplicate playlist?
Rediscover will save the copy alongside your Discover Weekly playlist. It will be titled 'Rediscover - January 1st', using the date that the playlist was created.
Is Rediscover free?

Go to yourSpotify account settings, find the apps tab and then 'revoke access' from Rediscover. You will now no longer get new Rediscover playlists Fiio spotify download.

Spotify saves the history of listened songs in the Windows application to a limited extent in which only the name of the last 45 songs played will be displayed. However if your Spotify account is connected to your Facebook account you can see the history of all the songs listened in the music streaming service.
How do you download free music on spotify. Spotify is a service in which you can listen to millions of songs. If you’ve been using the app for years it’s possible that your musical taste has undergone changes in this period. It is at this moment that you are nostalgic to know what songs you listened two years ago, for example.
But Spotify is limited when it comes to “go back in the past”. The streaming music service does not provide a history page of songs listened for all users just as YouTube provides a complete history of your watched videos.
The advantage here is with those who have a Spotify account associated with Facebook. If the “Share my activity on Facebook” lever is enabled in your Spotify settings this means that Facebook has saved a history of all the songs you’ve listened in Spotify since this lever was turned on.

View History On Spotify Apps
- Access the Facebook homepage through your computer or smartphone browser.On the Facebook website for computers click the “down arrow” located in the upper right corner of the blue bar and then click on the “Activity Log” link.
If you are using a smartphone click the “menu” icon (the three horizontal lines) and click on the “Activity Log” link. - On the computer click on the “More” link located in the menu located on the left to display the list of apps connected to your Facebook account and then click on “Spotify”. The Spotify history will be displayed.On the smartphone tap on “Filter” and then on “All Apps”. Now replace the word “apps” at the end of the address bar link with the text “app_174829003346” and access this link you edited to display only the history of the Spotify application. Your Spotify history will be displayed.
